Wilmington Charter Hosts Washington Court House

A grassroots group of community members met at The Murphy Theatre on November 11, 2025 at 7pm for a public meeting to discuss what it might look like for Wilmington become a Charter City like other cities our size. One of Washington Court House's Councilman, Jim Blair, attended to talk about the benefits of their city’s charter and share the "benefits of self-rule, rather than depending on state regulations to govern them."
